Biography
I spent nine award-winning years as a reporter and editor for several Minnesota newspapers. I left full-time journalism and became a freelance writer in 1999 when my husband and I became parents. I have written about everything from protecting European farms against mad cow disease to journaling techniques for scrapbook enthusiasts, but my real passion continues to be travel features. I love to explore regional destinations or places that feature stunning landscapes, wildlife, living history sites and good local food. I also favor family destinations as a mom to three kids – including twin toddlers.
