Lisa has spent more than 30 years writing about the people, places, and experiences that shape life in the Upper Midwest and beyond. Starting her career in newsrooms, she developed a keen eye for detail, strong interviewing skills, and a gift for crafting compelling narratives and immersive storytelling.

She enjoys writing about topics that build community and economic stability and encourage diversity and creativity.
